“A good beginning is of great importance.”

New Vertical primary school development
St Aloysius College is reaching new heights in 2026 with the completion of our new Dunlevie Building set to open in mid 2026. Read more about the development

EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
As part of the College campus, children at Chancery Lane have the opportunity to utilise the College facilities and visit the school library as well as being involved in College activity days throughout the year including Book Week, Mercy Day Carnival and our Primary Christmas concert. This interaction with the wider College community allows the young girls joining us in Reception to familiarise themselves with our environment.
For more information on the Chancery Lane Montessori Pre-school, visit

or phone 8223 7323.
RECEPTION TRANSITION PROGRAM
We share your excitement as your daughter embarks on her first schooling experience here with us at St Aloysius College.
Each June and November, the SAC Transition Program supports you and your daughter to develop a sense of belonging in our community, while gently introducing some of the routines of school. The program reflects our commitment to developing and nurturing authentic relationships and incorporates:
Three sessions over three weeks
Meaningful and intentional learning projects
Transition sessions facilitated by Reception teachers for continuity
Visits with specialist teachers in wider school facilities
An information session for families with insights of student experiences
“Our transition program, coordinated by a specialised Early Years educator, ensures students are nurtured and well-equipped for classroom learning. Once they’re settled, the girls are also encouraged to participate in the broad range of co-curricular activities on offer.”
– Primary Coordinator, Abby Matte
We encourage you to
join us on a School Tour
to visit the College on an ordinary school day and meet our students and staff.

or contact our Registrar Katie Macklin on 8217 3200.
“Abbey entered St Aloysius College in Reception as a quiet but eager young girl who was full of wonder.
In the blink of an eye, she has walked through the school gates one last time and is leaving St Aloysius College as a confident, articulate, determined, compassionate, kind and generous young lady who exemplifies the mercy values instilled in her.”
Debby, Parent of A Recent Graduate
