CENTRE FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
OBJECTIVES
To enhance the research awareness among faculty and students to foster research culture in all the departments.
To encourage faculty members to undertake research projects offered by UGC, DBT, DST, ICSSR and other agencies and to have national/international collaborative research.
To assist students in applying for financial assistance to carry out their projects under students’ project schemes of various funding agencies like UGC, DST, TNSCST and other funding organizations.
To encourage interdisciplinary research among faculty inside and outside the college.
To motivate the faculty and students to publish research articles/books in quality Scopus-indexed and UGC-cared journals with a good impact factor.
