Pediatric nephrologists are kidney doctors who specialize in treating babies, kids and young adults with renal (kidney) problems. We see all kinds of kidney conditions at Nemours. We also test and diagnose babies in the womb.
Whether your baby is born with a kidney condition or your child has recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs), we can help. Our nephrologists are in touch with urologists and surgeons, dietitians and others. We work together to manage kids’ diets, medications and dialysis when needed.
If your child needs several specialists, we’ll try to schedule your appointments on the same day. This makes care convenient for families.
