The Human Resources Department is devoted to providing effective and employee-friendly policies, procedures and guidelines in support of the University’s mission of access and excellence. Using organizational metrics as a guide, the Department works to optimize business processes and performance by building an employee base that is equipped to contribute to the institution’s success and ensuring that this pool of talent is utilized in an efficient manner. The Department handles workforce planning, recruitment, induction, orientation, skills management, training and development, personnel administration, compensation, time management, employee benefits administration, personnel cost planning, performance appraisals, labor relations and employee relations.
