Accommodations
Seattle Academy is committed to making the classroom and curriculum accessible to all students. Accommodations play an important role in helping a student with a diagnosed disability, permanent or temporary physical condition, or permanent or temporary psychological condition access the learning and testing environment. The type of support a student receives is individualized to meet the needs of the student and may include extended time for taking tests, audiobooks, access to a notetaker group, extra breaks during testing, or standardized test accommodations.
To determine eligibility for academic accommodations, students are required to submit current documentation from a qualified professional. This documentation should:
Clearly state a diagnosed disability or condition
Include relevant educational, developmental, and medical history
Establish the evaluator’s professional credentials and qualifications
Address any additional information relevant to the student's current functional limitations and recommended accommodations
Use the link below to upload documentation for academic accommodations.
