On August 30, 2025, the ICTS personnel gathered for a meaningful team building activity with the theme, “Stronger Together: Building Trust, Strengthening Workplace Relationships, and Enhancing Communication and Collaboration to Maximize Workplace Productivity.” The activity was facilitated by Mr. Paul Clarence R. Juarez, Human Resource Officer of Capitol University, who shared valuable insights on the importance of trust, effective communication, and collaboration in the workplace.
As part of getting to know each other, the activity started with a short individual sharing, where members of the ICTS participants opened up and learned more about one another. This was followed by an engaging group session on addressing workplace relationships and collaborations. The non-verbal communication game as part of the afternoon session did not only energize the group, but also emphasized the role of understanding beyond words. The activity also included journal writing, which allowed each member of the team to reflect and to internalize inputs and learning. Mr. Juarez and some members of the ICTS shared their personal testimonies on the positive impact of journal writing.
In closing, CU’s ICTS Director Ms. CJ Ranido, gave her appreciation to Mr. Juarez as the resource person of the team building activity and also encouraged the team members to help strengthen bonds within ICTS, in order to foster a more collaborative and productive workplace environment.
