Welcome back, we are excited that you are looking to
continue your education.
We are hopeful as you return to class that you will be supported and encouraged to
complete your degree.
Over One Year Since You Enrolled In Class?
If it has been over one year since you have enrolled in class, you will need to reapply
for admission. Before beginning the re-admission process, we courage all students
to connect with
Academic Advising
to discuss your degree progress and remaining degree requirements before beginning
the re-admission application process.
Less Than One Year Since You Enrolled In Class?
If it has not been over a year, you may still be an active student and have access
to registration.
Previously Graduated From UHCL?
If you have graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and considering a
Graduate Program
or
Post Baccalaureate Teach Certifications
you will need to
apply for admission
as a new incoming student.
Important Notice for Returning Students
If you have been placed on academic suspension, please follow the
Reinstatement Process
before beginning the re-admission application process. If you are suspended, you
will not be able to enroll, audit or visit classes for a period of time, as follows:
First suspension - one semester
Second suspension - one year
Third suspension - after one year
Students who are in academic suspension standing are not eligible to obtain a re-admission
decision.
Students who are in academic probation or good academic standing are eligible to
re-apply and obtain a re-admission decision.
Application Process for Returning Students
As a previously admitted student we will still have academic records previously submitted. 
However, will need to obtain official transcripts if you have completed any course
work since your previous enrollment at UHCL.

Pay the Application Fee
We require each applicant to pay a nonrefundable admissions application fee of $45.
This fee is payable three days after submitting your application.
After submitting your application, you will gain access to
E-Services
, UHCL's online student portal. Log in to your E-Services account to pay the application
fee. For instructions on how to make this payment, see our Student How-to Guide for
paying application fees (PDF).

Standard graduate application fee: $45.00
Doctoral students: $105.00
