CAPPA 10 Student Logo Design Competition
About the Design Competition
The College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs was established in 2015, and we’re excited to celebrate CAPPA’s 10th anniversary in 2025! Beginning in October, there will be special events marking this milestone and we want you to be a part of the celebration. In preparation for the festivities, we will be kicking things off with a
student
design
competition
for the “CAPPA 10” logo, which will be featured on all anniversary materials shared with CAPPA members, alumni and friends.
The top finalists will be determined by a jury of
student
organization Presidents and faculty. Jury members will not be eligible to submit
design
s. Submitted entries will be preliminarily reviewed by the jury for appropriateness, and finalists will be displayed in the CAPPA building for the CAPPA
student
body to view and vote on their favorites.

Competition Guidelines
Submission guidelines are as follows:
-Must be submitted in .png or .jpg image formats.
-Must be submitted in a 1:1 (square) aspect ratio.
-Must be at least 500px and less than 30mb
-Must include the phrase “CAPPA 10”
-Must meet UTA brand guidelines (more information available at the
university brand guide website
)
-Must not include or incorporate ready-made assets or “clip art”
-Must be your original work. Submit work that is yours and that you have the rights to distribute. Please do not submit entries using assets from any client work you previously completed.
-Limit of one entry per student.
-Initial submission must be in full color.*
-All submissions become UTA property.
*After jury review, finalists will be required to submit their entries in black and white and submit their workable
design
files for review.
Competition Prizes
1st Place:
$500 Visa gift card and CAPPA’s use of the logo to publicize the event
2nd Place:
$250 Visa gift card
3rd Place:
$100 Visa gift card

s that you create and celebrating the first of many anniversaries and milestones for CAPPA. The deadline for initial submissions is
Friday February 28th, 2025.
We will contact finalists with more information in March 2025.
