Rockbridge Academy is a classical Christian school, located between Baltimore and Annapolis, which seeks to teach students in an academic, Christ-centered environment, according to the Trivium. Rockbridge has grown to two class sections per grade, and all of the employment positions will be joining an experienced faculty.
Applicants are requested to provide a resume and cover letter (no more than one page front and back) to include:

General Qualifications for Employment
Teacher applicants should have a minimum bachelor's degree in the liberal arts, literature, history, mathematics, or science.

Accounting Associate
The Accounting Associate holds primary responsibility for managing revenue and receivables within the general ledger and provides essential support to the Bookkeeper and CFO during monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. As a part-time, year-round member of the Business Office team, the ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who demonstrates a heart for Christian education and possesses strong proficiency in Accounting. Candidates should be familiar with QuickBooks and Google Workspace, and be flexible in learning other business software applications. This position reports to the CFO, requires a commitment of 20 hours per week during the school year and 15 hours per week during the summer, and has a compensation of $18-$20/hour. Click

Junior Kindergarten Aide
Rockbridge Academy is seeking candidates for a part-time junior kindergarten aide for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will possess a love for God's word, a love for children, and a love for learning. He or she will be organized and a clear communicator. The junior kindergarten aide will help to maintain a loving, disciplined learning environment in which learning comes to life for the classical Christian student. Seeking Grammar School Teachers (K-6) for The Rockbridge Academy
Paideia School
Rockbridge Academy is seeking candidates for part-time grammar classroom teachers for its new collaborative model school (The Paideia School) launching in the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal teacher will possess a love for God’s word, a love for learning, and a love for children. They need to be organized and a clear communicator who demonstrates the skill and passion for teaching and shepherding children, as well as a heart for equipping parents to collaboratively educate. A bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement for this position. Teaching experience and first-hand exposure to classical methodology are ideal. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for the school’s financial health and business operations. Reporting directly to the Headmaster, the CFO manages the full scope of accounting processes, supervises the Business Office, and serves as a primary financial advisor to the Board of Directors. As a member of the Executive and Leadership Committees, the CFO plays a critical role in resource planning and mission execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive, team-oriented leader with a heart for Christian education and significant experience in financial reporting or public accounting. Purchasing and Instructional Supply Coordinator
The Purchasing and Instructional Supply Coordinator manages the school’s procurement functions with precision and efficiency. By supporting teachers and principals through the textbook and classroom supply planning process, this role serves as a vital link between the school’s instructional needs and the budget. As a year-round member of the Business Office team (working 5 days per week during the school year and 3 days per week during the summer), the successful candidate will demonstrate a heart for Christian education, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, a proficiency with Google Workspace, and flexibility to learn new business software applications. The ideal upper school chemistry teacher will possess a love for learning, a love for God's word, and a love for children. He or she will be organized and a clear communicator, and enjoy working as part of a team of teachers in the science department. A bachelor’s degree in the sciences is the required educational requirement for this position. A master’s degree or equivalent in the sciences is preferred. Experimentation and putting theory into practice are important parts of our science curriculum. The ideal candidate will have expertise in chemistry and life sciences. A strong ability to teach and work with math, the language of science, is a must. Prior teaching experience or work in the applied sciences, engineering, or medical fields is highly desired.
