Situated on the banks of Lake Alexandrina, an hour’s drive from Adelaide, offering an interesting experience for both railway enthusiasts & families.

Open Hours
The Milang Railway Museum
The museum firstly tells the story of the Lakes Railways, displaying a collection of South Australian Railways rolling stock & equipment. Secondly about the seven hundred little railways which once operated in the State; a story which includes free train rides.
Kids love our interactive displays.
Train Rides
Free train rides on the munitions light railway on Saturdays & Sundays 12-4pm.
Light Railways
The Cafeteria Car
Lunch, Refreshments & Devonshire Teas. Open Sundays 12-4pm.

The Craft shop is open 10am – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays down the platform.
