Welcome to Primary Grades
Our primary students settle in quickly to the friendly, happy environment of the school. Dedicated teaching staff spend time with each student to get to know them well and to look after their individual learning needs.

Curriculum Highlights
The children in the primary grades have most of their lessons with their classroom teacher, but they also have specialist teachers for French, Art and Music, each week. There is also supervised physical activity every day. As well as fully completing the BC Elementary School Curriculum, our primary students have numerous opportunities to develop their critical thinking, independent learning and leadership skills.
We encourage all of our students to express their ideas and gain confidence. We highlight the importance of kindness, sharing, good manners and listening to others. Primary children participate fully in the Choice Challenge and Focus Week programs which offer opportunities for learning in depth through practical workshops and field trips.
