International Student Program
Since 1997, Life Center Academy has proudly welcomed students from around the world as a SEVIS-approved school authorized to issue I-20 forms for F-1 student visas. Our campus, located on 106 scenic acres between Philadelphia and New York City, features outstanding educational and recreational facilities designed to support student growth in every area of life.
Life Center Academy is a Christian, faith-based school serving students from preschool through 12th grade. Our international program is open to high school students in grades 9–12, offering a rigorous college preparatory education. Upon graduation, students are well-prepared to attend respected colleges and universities for undergraduate and graduate studies. Some graduates have also gone on to serve with distinction in the United States Armed Forces.
A Truly Global Experience
Since the launch of our international program, we’ve hosted more than 90 students from 27 countries across the globe. At Life Center Academy, international students are fully immersed in a cross-cultural environment that extends beyond the classroom and into everyday life. Adjusting to a new culture, language, and even food takes time, and we walk alongside our students every step of the way.
To support this transition, all international students are required to attend Cross Culture Camp—a two-week orientation held in August before the school year begins. This program introduces students to American culture, classroom expectations, and student life at LCA. As part of maintaining a unified community, students must agree to speak only English during school hours.
Application & Admission Requirements
Two letters of recommendation from current teachers, including one from the student's English teacher
Proof of English proficiency (please note: LCA does not offer an ESL program)
A personal interview via Skype or in person (if visiting the U.S.)
Complete the International Student Application
LCA does not provide housing. International students must have a local relative or apply through an approved partner organization responsible for housing and guardianship arrangements.
Student Life
Our students are encouraged to grow in mind, body, and spirit. International students are welcome to participate in a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including:
Athletics:
Soccer, basketball, volleyball, track, baseball/softball, cheer
Clubs:
Theatre, Art, Chapel, Bible Club, and more
Facilities:
Access to a fitness center for after-school workouts
