Join Metro staff to participate in the 2026 City Nature Challenge, an international effort to find and document plants and wildlife. Participants will use the
iNaturalist app
to find pollinators, plants and more. Identification guides available and light refreshments provided.

all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Advanced registration is required. Space is limited to 20.
Pets policy
To protect plants, wildlife and people, Metro does not allow pets at most regional parks and natural areas. For a list of locations where dogs are allowed on leash, review the

page.
Service animal policy
Metro is committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Oregon’s disability laws. Service animals are welcome at all Metro properties per Oregon Revised Statute, Chapter 659A.143 and federal law. The term “service animal” does not include pets, emotional support or therapy animals.
