FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do both households submit financial information if parents are separated?
What if we miss the deadline?
When will we hear about our financial aid award?
What if we haven’t filed our taxes yet?
Do we need to reapply every year?
What if our financial situation changes after applying?
Yes. Each parent/guardian household must submit a PFS and relevant tax documents to be considered for aid.
We give priority to families who submit their applications by the deadline. If funds are still available after that, we will do our best to consider late applications; however, funding may be limited or unavailable.
New students:
Aid decisions are shared alongside admissions decisions.
Returning students:
Aid notifications arrive with re-enrollment contracts (late January–early February).
We require the most recently filed tax return, which, in most cases, will be the prior year returns. Once authorization is given for the TaxStatus feature within the application, tax returns will be uploaded automatically.
Yes. All families must reapply annually, as aid decisions are recalculated each year.
