Upper School Fast Facts
The Wellington Upper School is made up of 205 students in grades 9-12.
Classes in the Wellington Upper School are intentionally designed to include up to 15 students, allowing for engaging discussion, hands-on experiences, and differentiated instruction.
The student-to-teacher ratio at Wellington is 7:1, allowing for small group instruction and creating an environment in which students are deeply known, supported, and challenged.
Beyond AP Courses
While the Wellington Upper School curriculum does not include AP courses, our rigorous honors and advanced offerings in every academic department prepare students for college, careers, and AP exams that help students navigate their educational trajectories. In fact, our “Beyond AP” courses prepare students for exams better than the national average – by more than 20%!
