Business administration major Michael Grau was one of the first students to take part in an internship to Lisbon in Portugal, which he believes secured another internship at Marathon Petroleum Corporation.
Peace Corps Fellows program celebrates 10 years at BGSU

This academic year marks the 10-year anniversary of the Paul D. Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows Program at BGSU. The program works to provide returning Peace Corps volunteers with financial assistance as they transition into graduate school. BGSU has hosted more than 70 Peace Corps Fellows in various graduate programs.

A Golden Partnership

For a half-century, BGSU and the University of Salzburg have had a partnership. Nearly 1,500 students have benefitted from the Academic Year Abroad exchange program between the two universities. In June, some 70 of those Salzburg program alumni and others affiliated with the programs gathered in Salzburg to celebrate the milestone.
BGSU students, staff and alumni become citizens at naturalization ceremony

Bowling Green State University hosted a naturalization ceremony Nov. 13 for 48 new citizens, coming from 26 countries. Among them were students, alumni and a staff member. The new citizens heard from keynote speaker Magdy AbouZied, associate director of University Dining Services, who came to the U.S. from Egypt.

To honor the accomplishments of our recent alumni, the BGSU 10 Under 10 Award was established. The 2018 class was honored during Homecoming Oct. 12.
