“A READING CHILD IS A GROWING CHILD. A GROWING COMMUNITY BEGINS WITH GROWING MINDS.”
As part of its commitment to community development, Mukuba University hosted a Holiday Reading Club for children aged 3–12 from the university community and surrounding areas.
The initiative focused on nurturing a love for reading during the school holidays while keeping young minds engaged in positive and enriching activities. Children enjoyed storytelling, guided reading, phonics games, and fun group sessions.
Children👧🏽👦🏽 Over 50 children participated, with sessions led by The Book Bus in collaboration with the University Library staff.
Mukuba University continues to invest in its youngest members—building a foundation for literacy, creativity, and lifelong learning.

As we progress, it is an opportune time to consolidate our strengths and identify opportunities for further development, to steer the University to the next level of excellence. After extensive consultations with various stakeholders of the University, a new Strategic Plan has been formulated in the context of providing quality scientific innovations, through teaching, research, community engagement and enterprise for sustainable development; we considered it a priority to further strengthen our academic development and research as well as community engagement.
