Annual Middle School Science Fair | Randall Museum
The San Francisco Middle School Science Fair will be replaced by
the Golden Gate STEM Fair
Registration has Closed
Thank you to all participants
This year, the San Francisco Middle School Science Fair will be upgraded to the Golden Gate STEM Fair, the regional science competition for the SF Bay Area, which started in 1954.
Students in grades 6-12 from San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Napa and Sonoma counties are welcome to participate
. Students may register individually unless you have a science fair at your school.

Detailed Participation Information
The goal of conducting a research project is not to win a competition, but to learn and exercise science research, presentation, and critical thinking skills. If you are interested in changing the world through science, learning to do so is an ongoing process and we intend to support you in that journey.
Awards
Top projects will receive 1st -3rd placement awards. Special recognition awards will be offered by partner organizations and the very best projects in all grades will advance to the
California Science and Engineering fair
.
Two amazing High School projects will be chosen to compete at the
International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)
with registration, travel and accommodations paid for.
