An eccentric Elizabethan fireplace, carved with twining serpents, fruit and curious beasts, dominates the Old Chancery, which is used as an anteroom to either the Chapter Hall or the Council Chamber.
The Old Chancery also contains a selection of the Museum’s renowned collection of silver, and stained glass windows set with Order symbols.
It is the perfect space for greeting guests, registering delegates or enjoying pre-prandial drinks.
