DONATIONS
KHS is always happy to consider donations to enhance the breadth and depth of its collections. In order to streamline donation procedures for both ourselves and prospective donors, we have established the following policies:
If you have artifacts, photos, or other materials significant to the history of Kent, please contact us either by email at KHS@KentOhioHistory.org or by phone at (330) 678-2712.
Please DO NOT drop-off or send objects without first contacting our staff. We want to make sure that your potential gift is properly identified and cared for.
When emailing us about a potential donation, please supply images of the pieces for consideration in addition to any available information on their origin, uses, and owners.
To ensure that every donation makes a unique and worthwhile contribution to our collection of around 5,000 pieces, all offers of gift must be reviewed and approved by committee.
