Museum under development
As scheduled, the museum is now closed until further notice while we undertake some essential maintenance and repairs to the building, review consultation feedback and work on plans for the long-term sustainability of the building and collection.
While we are closed we are able to welcome
research visits
by arrangement.
We would like to thank members of the community and visitors who took the time to share their thoughts and ideas for the museum’s future, either in person or here at the museum.
