REQUIRED SUMMER READING
Fort Bend Christian Academy requires all students in grades 9-12 to participate in a Summer Reading program for English classes and some other courses. Students are expected to acquire and read the texts assigned for the course in which they have been placed. All assigned reading will be assessed at the beginning of the school year, though the method of assessment may vary. Students may have projects, tests, quizzes, or essays depending on the book, course, and instructor. No specific editions of the books are required, but abridged versions, including adaptations or graphic novel versions, are not approved. Printed copies of the texts are required.
*11th and 12th grade students who selected English Seminar courses will receive an email with their approved fall course selections. Students should refer to that email in order to acquire the appropriate required reading.
