Food for Thought
College is hard work and requires a lot of energy. This is why eating healthy, freshly prepared food is essential. Offering a large variety of dining options, our meal plans work with all students — even those who have various special food restrictions such as gluten-free or dairy-free diets. From the sizzling grill to the soup and salad bar or sandwiches to the dessert bar, students are served fresh and fun meals daily. Students living on-campus can choose from multiple meal plan options, including a set number of meals or flex pay.
Students who are living on-campus should contact our business office for meal plan information. Off-campus students can purchase meal plans or pay for meals on an individual basis.

Dining Commons
Dining Commons is much more than just food. It’s a place to connect with friends, develop community, and make plans for the week. With indoor and outdoor seating options, you’ll find students connecting with each other and enjoying good food.
Beacon’s new Dining Commons serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday. For the weekend, brunch and dinner are served on Saturday and Sunday.
The Dining Commons menu features a variety of options, including:
Breakfast
Chef-prepared entrees, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries
Lunch and Dinner
Classic favorites and themed entrees, fresh deli sandwiches, salads, soups, house-made pizza
Beverages
Soft drinks, coffee, tea, and juices
Navigator Cafe
In addition to the Dining Commons, students frequently visit the Navigator Café. In this coffee shop — located in the Leesburg Public Library — students are served Starbucks drinks, ice cream, sandwiches, and more. The Navigator Café is included in the dining plan.
Blazer Grazer
One of the most flavorful and engaging additions to our campus is the new full-time food truck, now serving fresh, fast, and fun fare! This mobile culinary hub is more than just a dining option — it’s a student-centered initiative that enhances campus life. Students played a key role in shaping this experience — from naming the truck to curating the menu and selecting service locations.
BeaconBuck$ and credit/debit cards are accepted at the Blazer Grazer.
Meal Plans
Each meal plan offers a combination of meal swipes and $150 BeaconBuck$ for Fall and Spring semesters. We prefer that first-year students take the 19-meal plan so as to ensure full access to the meals served in the Dining Commons. The College will allow for students to select the 15-meal plan should they desire, although it is our experience that this is not an optimal option for the first year.
Meal swipes
may be used for an all you care to eat meal in the Dining Hall or a flexible boxed meal at the Navigator Café (breakfast and lunch).
BeaconBuck$
allow students to get snacks, coffee or an extra meal at the Navigator Café or get meals at the new Beacon Food Truck.
