Being accredited by the SRC means that qualifying surgeons, programs, and centers at Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell meet national and international standards for surgical excellence
Eleven surgeons and five areas of focus at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell have achieved accreditation from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) for their high standards and commitment to the delivery of quality patient care and safety across a range of surgical specialties.
Capital Health physicians received the SRC Surgeon of Excellence designation in five areas of specialization, including:

Health care facilities and surgeons seeking SRC accreditation undergo extensive assessments and inspection processes to ensure applicants meets the SRC’s proven standards and requirements. These requirements include surgical volumes, facility equipment, clinical pathways and standardized operating procedures, an emphasis on patient education, and continuous quality assessment. Inspectors educate staff in the accredited departments on best practices to help an organization improve its care and services.

Capital Health Adds Pulsed Field Ablation System, Improving Access to Care for AFib Patients in Mercer and Bucks Counties
Specialists from Capital Health’s Cardiac Electrophysiology Program, part of its Heart and Vascular Institute, unveiled a new, minimally invasive pulsed field ablation system at the Al Maghazehe Heart and Vascular Center located at Capital Health Regional Medical Center (RMC). The addition of the new system doubles the hospital’s capacity to treat atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients who are candidates for ablation.
