Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management
The BAS degree in Applied Management prepares students to move into managerial positions
that require bachelor’s degrees or to start their own business by providing the theoretical
foundation and practical skills the graduates need for their career in management.
This degree includes optional concentrations in Agriculture and Healthcare Administration
for more focused and in-depth examination.

CBC’s Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Community Health prepares graduates for
work in community health and related fields. Community health workers are frontline
public health workers who are trusted members of (and/or have an unusually close understanding
of) the community served. These attributes enable community health workers to address
the social determinants of health where the healthcare system may fall short due to
lack of time, skills, cultural affinity, and community linkages.

The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Respiratory Therapy is designed to prepare
leaders for the field of respiratory care by including curricular content with objectives
related to the acquisition of skills in one or more of the following: management,
education, research, and advanced clinical practice (which may include an area of
clinical specialization). The program combines a rigorous academic curriculum with
hands-on clinical training to ensure students develop both theoretical knowledge and
practical skills in respiratory therapy. Instruction occurs at the CBC Health Science
Center in Richland, WA, as well as in partnering clinical facilities across the region.
