A cheerful, school-going child, his life took a sudden turn when he began feeling weak and unable to walk or stand properly . Soon, he developed a high fever At first, his family suspected jaundice and took him to a local doctor for treatment. However, the doctor recognized the severity of his condition and referred him to Cachar Cancer Hospital , where he was diagnosed with blood cancer The journey was not easy. His condition worsened—his face and body swelled , and at one point, he had to be shifted to the ICU . It was a difficult time for his family , especially his father, who knew little about the illness . His mother, however, remained strong, ensuring that Abdul received the treatment he needed Financial struggles made the treatment challenging, but with the Ayushman Bharat Health Card and support from the Cuddles Foundation , the family managed to continue his care. The hospital’s social worker also helped them secure rations and additional assistance , easing their burden. After months of treatment , Abdul is now on the path to recovery. Though he still needs to stay in the hospital for 50 more days , he is feeling much better . He is grateful for the doctors, nurses, and the hospital’s care , as well as the unwavering support of his family. Abdul’s journey is a testament to resilience and strength . It highlights the importance of compassionate organizations and individuals who come forward to support those in need.
