John announces new Group Chief Executive and Chief Ambulance Officer St John in Guernsey has appointed Heather as Group Chief Executive Officer, taking overall responsibility for leadership, strategy and external affairs across both the ambulance service and the charity. John Atkins has been named Chief Ambulance Officer, with responsibility for frontline services, while Aimee Lihou becomes Chief Operating Officer. The leadership changes follow the resignation of former CEO Mark Mapp after seven years. The new structure aims to strengthen strategic alignment, improve efficiency and support a sustainable model of care for the islands.
