How long will it take to complete my degree?
+
Listed below are the credit hour requirements and estimated time to completion for students enrolling full-time:
Certificate programs require 18 credit hours and take approximately 8 months to complete. Graduate certificate programs can be completed in 12 months.
Associate programs require 60 credit hours and take around 24 months to complete.
Bachelor’s degree programs require 120 credit hours, taking approximately 38 months to complete.
Master’s degree programs require 36 credit hours and can be completed in 24 months. Students can complete their master’s in 12 months if they choose the accelerated option.

What do I need to know to transfer into an undergraduate program?

Grades for prior academic credit must be a C or higher
At least 25 percent of the required credit hours must be completed at University of Arkansas Grantham
Students may not transfer in credit for capstone courses
What do I need to know to transfer into a graduate program?

Grades for prior academic credit must be a B or higher and completed within the last 10 years
Master’s level courses completed at UA Grantham that are more than 10 years old will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for currency when applied toward course fulfillment and program completion
Students may not transfer in credit for Capstone courses
You must successfully complete at least 50 percent of the required credit hours at University of Arkansas Grantham to earn the degree

If I come back to school, will I have to start over?

Any course(s) that you were previously enrolled in, but did not complete, will not count toward academic credit. Previously taken classes will be evaluated and applied to the current version of your program, where appropriate.
Am I eligible for the laptop program offer?

Returning students may qualify for the no-cost laptop, provided that they meet eligibility criteria. Speak with your Student Advisor to see if you qualify.
I am unable to continue with my education. Can I return in the future?
+
Of course, you can always re-enroll in the future and jump back into your studies—it’s never too late! A student may withdraw from the university for any reason and is responsible for completing the University’s formal withdrawal procedures as outlined in the Withdrawal Policy. Please be advised that an extended absence from your degree program may require re-enrollment into that program and may result in a reevaluation of prior coursework where any previously taken classes that are out of date in regard to latest developments, practices, or technology, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be ineligible for transfer.
What are the admission requirements?

The University of Arkansas Grantham accepts all international students who qualify, including those living inside or outside the United States or its properties. There are no restrictions on citizenship, residency or status. Is University of Arkansas Grantham a military-friendly school?

The university is a designated Purple Heart University, an approved training vendor for the U.S. Army, and was named the 6th most military-friendly school in the nation. Our Heroes Program gives military service members and veterans tuition at a discounted rate and covers textbooks, software and technology fees. Also, we offer flexible deployment policies, military education funding guidance for TA, VA and MyCAA, as well as transfer credit for military training, coursework and life experience.

Of course. The flexibility and convenience offered by the University of Arkansas Grantham is second-to-none. The comprehensive assistance provided by our dedicated admissions representatives and student advisors through one-on-one interaction with students enables success at the individual level.
What kind of military benefits can I receive?
+
Through UA Grantham’s Heroes Program, all veterans and active duty military ranks and branches will receive tuition at a discounted rate of $250 per credit hour (for both graduate and undergraduate programs). Eligibility for this program is determined through the Financial Aid office at the time of admission and continues for as long as the student is enrolled.Active duty military members have access to Military Tuition Assistance, a benefit paid to eligible members of all branches of the military. In some cases, this benefit will be enough to pay up to 100% of your tuition expenses. If you need additional funding, you can apply for one of our military scholarships or Federal Student Aid, if eligible.
What resources are in place for military and veterans?

We provide a variety of student support resources that can be especially useful to active-duty students, including a veteran support team and dedicated student advisors that are available by phone, text or email whenever you need them. Flexible deployment policies allow you to put your program on hold (should you need to), and no-cost online tutoring and a host of web-based library resources are available for academic support.
