One ticket, three seasonal immersive tours
Visit No.1 Royal Crescent and experience our immersive tours which bring the house to life. Your admission ticket can be used to revisit the museum throughout the year free of charge, so we offer three different immersive experiences throughout the year. Children enter free with a paying adult*.
We would recommend a visit length of around 1 – 1.5 hours. Our Georgians at Home immersive experience lasts for around 50 minutes, our Jane Austen in Bath immersive experience lasts around 45 minutes and our 12 Tales of a Georgian Christmas immersive tour lasts around 40 minutes.
Tickets are available to book online either prior to a visit or on the day of a visit. It is preferable to pre book your tickets to ensure your preferred time slot and to speed up your entry to the museum. If you are unable to book online, you can also purchase tickets at the main Museum entrance. If you would like to check availability prior to visiting, please call our Museum team on 01225 428 126 and we would be delighted to check this for you.

Main museum experience – Georgians at Home
Step back in time and meet a Georgian family spending the season in Bath! As you wander through the elegant rooms of their home, you’ll overhear snippets of daily life – from fashionable gossip to family dilemmas. Discover what it meant to live in Georgian Bath, explore the issues and intrigues of the day, and meet the hardworking servants who kept the household running behind the scenes.
This experience runs from
31 January to 15 November 2026
during normal opening hours and not on dates when ‘Jane Austen in Bath’ runs (see below).

Main museum experience: Jane Austen in Bath
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a Georgian townhouse in Bath must have a Jane Austen story to tell! Our Jane Austen tour looks at life in Britain in the 1790s – 1820, (the Regency into Late Georgian period), including when Austen was writing, and for a time living in Bath. Using the rooms of the house as inspiration, passages and conversations from Austen’s novels bring to life the activities that took place in such domestic spaces, as well as questioning the thoughts and feelings of the people who inhabited them.
This experience runs on
27 Feb, 27 Mar, 24 Apr, 29 May, 26 Jun, 31 Jul, 28 Aug, 25 Sept and 30 Oct
. It will also run for the duration of the Jane Austen Festival:

Visit No.1 Royal Crescent and experience our immersive Christmas tour which brings the house to life.
Visit this special house at Christmas, see the rooms dressed for the festival season and enjoy the traditions and celebrations of a Georgian Christmas told through stories and poems throughout the house as part of our immersive experience.
12 Tales of a Georgian Christmas is an immersive experience that runs on a timed loop. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your ticket slot, to ensure you do not miss any of your experience.
