Our Traditions
While we are not a traditional school, we do hold onto annual celebrations. Our community-driven traditions are unique, evolving each year through the creativity of our students to bring our whole school together. In engaging the students in the production of these events, they are entirely immersed in creating something for themselves and their peers.
Traditions of note
Valedictory Dinner
The whole primary school prepares the space as a send off for the Year 12s.
Anthology
A week of story writing and art culminating in an annual publication.
Doo Dah
An end of term sausage sizzle celebration prepared by the parents.
Winter Solstice
Our annual parade of lanterns designed and built by the children accompanied with music, soups and a bonfire.
Summer Sol
Our annual end of year carnival prepared by the primary children with music performances for the whole community.
Big Day In and Doorstep Concerts
Termly events where our young people can elect to perform for their peers and families.
Camps
A rich program for all children from Year 2 – 12.
