The School of Humanities at Kent is a vibrant community dedicated to exploring the human experience through history, literature, creative writing, and the study of ancient civilizations. By examining the stories, cultures, and events that shape societies, you develop a deep understanding of the world and your place in it. Through critical analysis, creative expression, and a passion for discovery, you’ll gain the tools to think critically, write clearly, and engage meaningfully. We cultivate thinkers, writers, and researchers who bring insight and empathy to an ever-changing world, and create graduates equipped with the skills to change it.
