A 2.3% credit card fee is applied to all credit/debit card transactions.
Driver Assistance Service
Availability
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Cost for service
$10, plus the appropriate toll for the vehicle driven
To request from the north side
Request the service from inside the administration building.
To request from the south side
Pull over on the wide shoulder just north of exit 339 near the booth and call Bridge Services to request this service.
Drivers who do not feel comfortable driving across the Mackinac Bridge can have staff from the Mackinac Bridge drive their vehicle. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older. The required
liability waiver
has been updated, and staff will complete a checklist of several items the customer must agree to, including allowing for adjustments of mirrors and the driver’s seat, using a dash camera to record the inside of the vehicle during the crossing, keeping any animals in the vehicle restrained, having all occupants wear a mask covering their nose and mouth, and allowing the vehicle to be cleaned before crossing.
Pedestrian and Bicycle Transport Service
Availability
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Cost for service
Pedestrian: $5
Bicycle: $15 (includes bicycle and bicyclist)
To request from the north side
Request the service from inside the administration building.
To request from the south side

Pedestrians and bicyclists must cross the Mackinac Bridge in a vehicle, so the MBA provides transport services. People who use this service must sign a liability waiver form (

Snowmobile / ATV Transport Service
Availability
8:00 am to 8:00 pm, 7 days a week
Cost for service
$20 (includes snowmobile / ATV and rider), $5 for each additional rider. *
To request from the north side
Park on the wide shoulder on First Street at US-2 across from the Shell station. Call Bridge Services to request services.
To request from the south side
Stop at the Mackinaw City Welcome Center and call Bridge Services to request services.
