International
Godolphin warmly welcomes applications from international pupils across the globe. As a school with a rich history and a forward-thinking approach, we provide an inspiring, supportive, and dynamic environment where pupils from diverse backgrounds can thrive. We understand that applying to a UK school from overseas is a significant step, and we are here to guide families through every stage of the process. Godolphin Admissions works closely with pupils, parents and educational agents to offer clear guidance and personalised support, ensuring a smooth and straightforward application journey.
Applications
Applications for a place at Godolphin can be requested through our Admissions Team. Upon receipt of a completed application and registration fee, applicants will be invited to undertake an interview with the Head or member of the Senior Leadership Team to be completed online.
Following a satisfactory interview, Godolphin will request the applicants' latest school reports (which should be translated into English) and a confidential reference.
Applicants will also be invited to undertake an English assessment and a computer-based cognitive ability assessment for their appropriate year group.
Successful applicants will then be offered a place at Godolphin, subject to all visa requirements being met to study in the UK.

English
Language
There is a minimum entry requirement for pupils where English is a second or additional language. Pupils must have attained the following Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) requirements:
Year 7 - 10
A minimum of level CEFR B1
Year 11
A minimum of level CEFR B2
Year 12 & 13
A minimum of level CEFR B2 or IELTS 5.5 in all skills
Pupils will sit an English assessment and a computer-based cognitive ability assessment for their appropriate year group. They will be invited to take part in an interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team to assess proficiency in spoken English, either in person or by a virtual meeting.
Boarding
Boarding at Godolphin offers a welcoming and structured environment where international pupils quickly feel at home. Our boarding houses foster a strong sense of community, encouraging friendships and independence while ensuring pupils receive excellent pastoral care. Houseparents and dedicated staff are always available to support pupils, helping them to settle in, balance their academic commitments, and fully engage in school life.
Our boarding facilities include extended study rooms, social spaces and separate dormitories for boys and girls. These modern spaces provide pupils with the time and space they need for study, recreation, and relaxation in a home-from-home environment.
