Our
opening
on
Sunday
3rd
May
2026
will
go
ahead
but
we
will
NOT
be
steaming
any
of
the
engines.
The
Boiler
House, beam engine room, sprinkler pump room, 1910 workshop, cafe and souvenir shop will remain open.
The main engine room and the generator room will remain closed throughout the day.
We
will
ensure
our
social
media
channel
and
website
are
kept
up
to
date
with
the
latest
news
from
Ellenroad.
We’d like to thank all our visitors, members & volunteers for you continued support.
We Offer:
- FREE parking.
- Light refreshments and hot drinks available at the engine house café.
- Outdoor picnic area.
- Special Events on most Steaming Day.
- Toilets.
We welcome School parties and other groups on weekdays by arrangement.
Please note, due to the nature of the site we can only offer limited disabled access,
but we do have a chair lift.
