This role focuses on securing unrestricted and restricted annual gifts, increasing donor participation, and building a sustainable pipeline of future major gift donors.

Notre Dame Prep is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic upper school
Science Teacher
to join our faculty for the 2026-27 academic year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching science, committed to academic excellence, and supportive of the mission and values of Catholic education. This position involves teaching high school science courses while fostering a classroom environment rooted in faith, respect, and intellectual curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
Teach high school science courses (e.g. Physics and Chemistry) according to curriculum standards.
Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and hands-on learning.
Integrate Catholic values and ethical perspectives where appropriate within the curriculum.
Assess student progress through assignments, labs, projects, and exams.
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, professional development, and the spiritual life of the school community.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education
Valid state teaching certification DE (Physics) or DX, DP, DI, DC (Chem) preferred.
Strong knowledge of high school science curriculum and laboratory safety practices.
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching at the AP high school level.
Ability to teach multiple science disciplines.
Familiarity with inquiry-based and project-based learning methods.
Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required; all applicants must support the Catholic mission of the school.

Notre Dame Prep is currently looking for a MYIG/Model Judiciary Program (mock trial) Advisor. The program runs October through April. Advisors must attend Fall Training Conference AND Spring Conference in Lansing (3/26-3/29)

bus drivers
for the current and 2024-25 school year. Competitive wages ($21.00 per hour) for qualified candidates who enjoy working with children, have a safe driving record and are able to pass DOT physical & drug testing requirements. Route drivers are guaranteed at least 20 hours a week and are offered full benefits including medical, dental, vision and a retirement plan. A $2,000 stipend is available if benefits are waived.
