ACT Fire & Rescue began its life in 1913 as The Canberra Fire Brigade.
Juvenile Fire Awareness Intervention Program
JFAIP is a fire safety education program delivered to young people who have engaged or been identified as having fire risk behaviour.

Join the ACT F&R CFU program
A Community Fire Unit (CFU) is a team of local residents who live close to bush land areas across the ACT. These local volunteers are trained and equipped by ACT Fire & Rescue to safeguard their homes during a bushfire until the fire services arrive.
