Spring 2026 Meetings Programme
OHIHS meet in the Risca Colliers Institute, home of the Risca Industrial History Museum, at 7.00pm.
Meetings finish at around 9.00pm. Annual membership fee £30.00.
Friends and visitors are welcome to attend our meetings for a minimum donation of £3.00.
Our Members Evenings
Members evenings are informal meetings giving everyone an opportunity to raise topics and questions for general discussion.
You are welcome to make short presentations, discuss topical matters of industrial interest or present the product of your researches.

Summer Walks and Visits Programme 2026
Here is our summer walks programme as it currently stands. We are discussing a few options for the available dates in July and August but still need a few more offers/suggestions. As always, we are happy for non-members to join us and fuller details will be sent out early in the week of each event.
Our Walks Programme
Meet at the stated venue (OS ref given) at 7.00pm prompt (unless otherwise stated), please.
Further details will be sent to members in the week leading up to the event.
Visitors are welcome but everyone participates at their own risk.
Walks marked (*) are more strenuous walks involving climbs, rough ground or narrow paths.
