Digital Studio Art at Albright prepares students to thrive in the rapidly expanding world of digital media creation. From illustration to animation to hybrid artmaking, this program equips you to tell compelling visual stories across platforms.
About the Program
Combining classic artistic principles with 21st‑century tools, Digital Studio Art builds technical confidence and creative fluency. Students work with tablets, imaging software, photography tools, and digital workflows to produce portfolio-ready work.
Hands-On Learning
Students exhibit digital projects in the Freedman Gallery, collaborate with Art and Game & Simulation majors, and develop digital portfolios through critiques, showcases, and internships with creative organizations.

Internships and Career Support
Students can connect with the
Career Development Center
to gain professional experience through internships at design studios, animation or gaming companies, advertising and marketing agencies, multimedia production firms, museums, or galleries, applying digital art, illustration, and multimedia skills in real-world creative projects.
ACRE Undergraduate Research
Students in any major can engage in interdisciplinary undergraduate research through the
Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE)
, partnering with faculty mentors to pursue independent research or creative projects and present their work beyond the classroom.
