Kootenai Clinic Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) prioritizes the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their babies. Maternal Fetal Medicine is a specialized branch of obstetrics that focuses on the management of high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications. Our team of experts, including perinatologists, neonatologists, genetic counselors, and other specialists, collaborate to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Our MFM team is committed to being accessible to patients to support and guide whenever necessary.
Maternal Fetal Medicine encompasses a wide range of services, including:
Prenatal screenings
Diagnostic testing
Fetal monitoring
Management of maternal conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and autoimmune disorders during pregnancy
