In 2025/26 the TC Foundation has been bestowed with the University of Glasgow's highest honours for philanthropy and is officially listed in the Roll of Benefactors by the University in recognition of its significant fundraising for the University’s students since 2010.
The Trustees of The TC Foundation will be awarded the honour at the University's Commemoration Day in June 2026, where the Foundation's name will be read out alongside 'those others who have ensured the University and its impactful work have flourished throughout the centuries, such as James the Second, King of Scots, and philanthropists such as Andrew Carnegie'.
The Trustees and the TC Foundation staff work hard behind the scenes to ensure that all students on the conservation courses at the Kelvin Centre are able to attend the two year courses without financial worries, supporting them through the provision of bursaries.  However we must mention the bursaries wouldn't exist without the funding from all our marvellous trusts and foundations listed in the
Fundraising
page of our website and the TC Foundation trustees are mindful of their huge and generous support.  Thankyou to them all!  Their funding has made an immense difference to the students and alumni, with over 110 students supported since the Foundations inception in 1975!
