Situated in the City of Bayside, within walking distance to shops, beach and parklands, our school has close links with local kindergartens and neighbouring primary and secondary schools through network meetings, collegiate contact, professional development activities and transition meetings.
2022 was a very special year for our Sandy Primary community, as we opened the doors to our impressive new-look buildings at Bamfield Street. The creation of a school that combines state of the art learning facilities with our talented staff team, along with a rich 170 year history, is an exciting opportunity for current and future students, and indeed the broader Bayside community.

Sandringham Primary School is located about 15 kilometres south east of the Melbourne City Centre. The school is one of the oldest in Victoria, celebrating 170 years in 2025.
