You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and a comprehensive selection of support services in one convenient location in South Brisbane.

Pregnancy Assessment Centre

Maternal Fetal Medicine Mater Women's Imaging Service
and our onsite
Neonatal Critical Care Unit
, which includes an intensive care unit for babies who are born with extreme prematurity or require lifesaving care.

Visiting hours
At Mater we recognise the importance of visiting your loved ones at times that are convenient to you. We encourage family and friends to visit patients between
10am to 1pm
and
3pm to 8 pm
, seven days a week.
Please note, to ensure patients have adequate rest and recovery periods, we promote a
rest period between 1pm and 4pm.
