Meetings and Workshops
Host 10 to 400 people
Choose from auditorium spaces with theater seating, large and small configurable classrooms, and other meeting spaces to suit your needs. All are equipped with the latest technology to make your presentations seamless.
Our caterer, Aramark, can provide breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as well as light refreshments, and your attendees will enjoy taking outdoor breaks at one of several beautiful outdoor spaces.
Conferences, Retreats, Camps
Host 10 to 250 people, with or without lodging
Need space for just one day? Up to a week or two, or more? GMercyU has experience hosting multi-day conferences, summer camps, retreats, and more. Choose from auditorium spaces with theater seating, large or small configurable classrooms, and conference rooms to suit your needs, all equipped with the latest technology. Our caterer Aramark can provide breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, as well as light refreshments.
Choose from three residence halls that offer air-conditioned suites, doubles, or single rooms. Most floors feature lounge areas, communal kitchen space, and laundry facilities. While our large, lighted patio space makes the perfect location for outdoor events that extend into the evening, there are several other outdoor spaces for work or fun, plus access to scenic walking trails.
Athletic Events
Gwynedd Mercy University has both indoor and outdoor recreational facilities available to you outside of the GMercyU team schedules. The Griffin Complex is our indoor sports complex and houses a full-length basketball court, dance studio, and racquetball courts. The outdoor Genuardi Pavilion is equipped with picnic tables with easy access to parking and walking trails.
GMercyU's outdoor facilities include a stadium that can host field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, or track and field/cross country events with a new turf field and the newly renovated Frank O. Genuardi Legends Baseball and Softball Fields.
Concert, Play, or Lecture/Panel
Seats up to 400
GMercyU’s Julia Ball Auditorium is the perfect place for your next show, with plenty of parking and adjacent indoor space and covered outdoor space for an optional pre- or post-show gathering. Want to provide refreshments for your audience? Our catering service Aramark has multiple options to choose from.

Waldron Griffinaerie
Rent a small section (up to 25 guests), a large section (up to 125), or the entire room (up to 150). The Griffinaerie features floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of GMercyU's picturesque campus.
Maguire Hall Merck Auditorium
Merck Auditorium holds up to 72 guests; you can also rent a classroom (up to 25 people), a lab (15-25), or the Commons (50).
Assumption Hall's Great Hall
Serve up to 80 people in the great hall of a stunning Georgian-style mansion built in the early 1900s. History buffs and 007 fans will appreciate that Assumption Hall was once the country estate of
the "real" James Bond
.
Julia Ball Auditorium
Located in St. Bernard Hall, the auditorium seats up to 400 and has nearby parking and adjacent indoor space and covered outdoor space for an optional pre- or post-show gathering.
University Hall
Here, you'll find classrooms of varying sizes (seating 30 - 122) and two conference rooms, all equipped with the latest technology.
University Hall Rotunda
A welcoming gathering space with plenty of seating, University Hall's Rotunda is flexible enough to host events of all kinds (as shown). It also features a convenient micro-market.
Loyola Hall
One of three residence halls, it features double rooms with air conditioning and roomy wardrobes.

Griffin Complex
Renovated in 2025, this space features a new gymnasium floor and new bleachers. A new HVAC system was installed in 2024.
Turf Field
GMercyU's stadium hosts field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, or track and field/cross country events.
Frank O. Genuardi Legends Baseball and Softball Fields
Each recently renovated field include new scoreboards, bullpens, batting tunnels, dugouts, backstops, fencing, and a new synthetic field for the baseball team (softball features a preferred dirt field). The softball field also features a new warning track.
