I had some troubles initially with the fees, but received a scholarship grant, and so I made it; I finally made it to IIT.

IIT employs a dual training model towards achieving an integral technical training of its students. The first phase of the training takes place within the IIT premises while the second phase, referred to as in-company training or internship phase, takes place within the premises of a partner company.
Currently, some of the students are interns in Krones LCS Center West Africa Limited. These student trainees are involved in the setup and construction of a brewery. This project is challenging as it demands that the students trainees put to use all the knowledge and skills they have acquired so far. The student trainees have accomplished several tasks such as installing bottle conveyors in accordance with the layout plan and standards, wiring machine electrical panels, welding and carry-out modifications on machines etc.
The site manager said
“The students are doing well and every time I meet them working on site they are not distracted with earphones and gadgets. They always have their eyes on the job”
Temitope Jinadu one of the student trainees on site commented on the excellent welfare and team spirit.
