The Augustana Registrar’s Office supports the university's mission through the administration of academic policies and procedures, while providing academic support to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public. Student records are maintained with confidentiality and integrity.

to assist with determining which semester to take particular courses.

Academic Policies
All academic policies are listed in the Catalog at
augie.edu/catalog
Students may graduate under the requirements of the current catalog during the session in which they first enroll at Augustana University.
Credit Hour Definition
Augustana University is on the semester hour system.
Undergraduate students must complete 124 credit hours to earn a baccalaureate degree. A full-time course load is 12-16 credit hours.
Graduate students' full-time course load is 9 credit hours
Total required graduate hours varies by program.
A credit hour is typically defined by one hour per week of in class instruction, plus another two hours of study outside of class for 15 weeks.
Exceptions to this definition include studio courses, clinical experiences, directed research, internships and practicums, and other experiences faculty offer to students outside of the normal laboratory or classroom setting.
Dual Credit Opportunities
Augustana provides opportunities for high school students seeking to earn college-level credit while in high school. A student may earn college-level credit from Augustana through a partner high school's
dual credit opportunities
or on Augustana's campus through our
dual enrollment opportunities
.
Academically Dismissed Students
Students who were academically dismissed and wish to return must complete the
Application for Dismissed Students
as part of their request for readmission.
Returning Students
Any former Augustana student wishing to return to their studies at AU must submit an
Application for Returning Students
to initiate the process.

Current Students
Free Student Self-Service for enrollment verification is available by visiting
my.augie.edu
. This service is not free unless you log in through the link.
Printing Enrollment Verification Certificate
Instructions
Log on to my.augie.edu.
Click on the Academics Tab.
Click the Academic Information menu option (left side of the page)
Scroll down to the Enrollment Verification Window and click on the Student Clearinghouse Self-Service Site.
Click on Obtain an Enrollment Certificate (make sure the radio button for Current Enrollment is highlighted.
Print the page and sent it to your insurance company or other institution that needs your enrollment verification.
You will be able to verify your enrollment for upcoming terms two weeks prior to the beginning of the first day of classes. Enrollment verification for an upcoming semester is not available prior to that time.
Log off and close the browser window.
