The term associated with those provisions was "deemed" licensure. Those provisions allowing practice in deemed status have all expired. Individuals practicing the professions regulated by the Board of Medical Practice must have a valid license, certification, or registration. PLEASE NOTE: that this applies to only the professions licensed by the Board of Medical Practice (MD, PA, DPM, AA, and RA) .
