Adult Mental Health Group Therapy
We offer a variety of group therapy programs designed to help you build the skills, confidence and support you need to live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Because healing is often stronger together, most clients begin their journey with group therapy — where you’ll find connection, encouragement and practical tools for recovery.
Our groups bring together education, treatment and life skills training, and include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Depression/Anxiety
These groups use proven techniques to help you manage symptoms of depression or anxiety. You’ll learn practical skills to challenge negative thoughts, cope with stress and build healthier habits for everyday life.
Emotion Regulation Therapy (ERT)
This group helps you learn practical skills to manage strong emotions and handle challenging situations more calmly. It focuses on four key areas: distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
Illness Management and Recovery (IMR)
This group will help you make informed decisions about your care and manage your symptoms more effectively. You’ll gain tools to reduce relapses, access case management and connect more quickly with psychiatric care. Specially designed for anyone with a serious mental illness, high-risk clients or those recently hospitalized.
Other Group Options (Varies by Location):
Therapy 101 – Identify goals as you prepare for individual therapy and learn more about available resources
Trauma – Understand the effects of trauma and identify your strengths and resources for coping with it
Mindfulness and meditation – Learn skills to stay in the moment and cope with anxiety, depression or trauma-related symptoms
Intensive Adult Case Management
This multi-disciplinary team serves high-acuity clients who need extra support to stay stable in the community. In this program, case managers meet with clients at least three times per week, and a psychiatrist is consulted weekly. The program aims to help bridge the gap between traditional outpatient services and supervised or residential services.
First Episode Psychosis / Insight
Early care makes a difference for those experiencing their first episode of psychosis. The Insight program is for people 14 and older who have experienced their first episode of psychosis in the past five years and focuses on recovery and living a fulfilling life. Using a team‐based approach, our psychiatric providers, therapists and case managers work with clients and families to set and reach their recovery goals. Support includes individual, group and family therapy; medication management; acute care during crises, and supported education.
