The Annual Fund enhances every student's education and enrichment.
Thomas Heyward thrives from your support of The Annual Fund. Although tuition covers the cost of educating a student, the additional revenue from The Annual Fund helps keep tuition affordable while continuing to offer
Annual Fund contributions that enhance the intellectual, social, and personal development of every student by supporting the school's current-year operating expenses.

The Annual Fund renews each fiscal year on July 1 through June 30. All gifts are fully tax-deductible and are payable by June 30 so that they may be applied to the current year’s budget. Unless specified, these gifts are unrestricted and available for immediate use in the areas of greatest need.

The Fund for THA is the cornerstone of our annual fundraising efforts. The Fund provides
unrestricted, critical resources
each year to bolster budgets of all school divisions & programs.
Gifts to the Annual Fund help bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a THA education. Annual Funds gifts are unrestricted and provide immediate support to the operating budget supporting faculty and professional development, classroom curriculum to maintain teaching excellence, technology, arts and athletic programming and extra-curricular activities and electives across many disciplines
Yes! A gift of any size is an endorsement for THA and has a much broader impact than its financial support alone. We ask all families to engage at a level meaningful to them. Participation of our families demonstrates that our community values the education and experience that THA provides and confirms their belief in the school’s mission. Your participation in The Annual Fund sends a powerful message as an indicator of our community’s shared commitment to the success and sustainability of THA.
Supplementing tuition through charitable gifts helps keep tuition at a competitive rate and provides funding for educational programs and campus improvements that are essential to fulfilling our mission and enhancing the student experience
