These global partnerships deliver impactful collaborative research, innovative programmes for students, opportunities for staff development and mobility, and enhanced student skills and employability.
The University's International Strategic Partnerships with
Grenoble Alpes University
and
Texas
- which include collaborations in research and teaching, joint degrees, staff and student exchange across all subject areas - have been highlighted as examples of best practice within the sector.
The innovative degrees include Joint PhDs, the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Master’s degrees and Validation Arrangements, through which students can qualify for degrees of Swansea University. Two interesting models of collaboration include a ‘flying faculty’ arrangement with Chinese Universities and a Dual Degree with the University of Trent, Canada. The portfolio of degrees offered through partnership work include, work based bachelor degrees delivered by further education colleges in Wales.
