A Dream Deferred – One Year After the Denial of Marriage Equality
In October 2023, the Supreme Court delivered its verdict in Supriyo vs. Union of India, denying marriage equality to queer persons. ALF released a booklet that unpacks the complexities of the judgment, exploring its broader implications on marriage, civil unions and adoption rights. In addition, the booklet also looks at the hope found in the minority opinion, which reminds us that the fight for equality continues.
